Science-based solutions
The Partnership is developing streamflow and water use management plans for each watershed using the best available science. Streamflow, habitat, and fish monitoring data are used to correlate coho salmon survival and growth to streamflow and flow-related habitat parameters over the dry season. GIS cumulative impact models are created to help develop management objectives that ensure adequate protections for fish.
With a sound scientific foundation, the Partnership, landowners, and water users can identify solutions that improve streamflows and water reliability.
